Mag-Tec Casting Corporation

Capability: Tool and Die Services

Capability:

To support our die casting operations, our facility at Mag-Tec Casting Corporation houses a fully equipped tool room to maintain production tooling. Along with magnesium, aluminum, and zinc casting dies, we build trim dies as well as inspection gauges and checking, inspection, and assembly fixtures.
We build dies and fixtures to optimize quality, reduce cycle time, and comply with forecasted service life, whether its long term or short-term production. With our blend of engineering and technical capabilities, we design the casting molds to obtain the correct geometry, dimensions, and surface qualities of the die-cast part. We then simulate all aspects of the casting process, such as melt flow and cooling, to ensure the integrity of the manufacturing process.
Our tool and die design services include thorough and diligent inspection using high caliber instruments and devices to ensure an extreme level of accuracy. We generate samples and prototypes for evaluation and testing and provide quality reports as necessary. Throughout the life of the tooling, we carry out ongoing inspection and maintenance, and we keep complete tool history documentation.
