Mag-Tec Casting Corporation

Capability: Prototyping Services

Capability:

Mag-Tec Corporation offers full prototyping capabilities for design verification, tooling verification, and testing. We leverage several different methods for prototyping based on the stage of product development and specific customer requirements. From proof of principle prototypes to small production runs of the final product, we have strategies and resources to accommodate any request.

Prototype

We build early-stage representations to provide stakeholders prototypes using several different methods with tradeoffs between tolerances and material properties. Examples include plaster castings, machined versions, or die-cast samples using prototype tooling. Materials available consist of a selection of diecasting materials, including special alloys of magnesium, aluminum, zinc.
For prototyping, our lead time is as short as two weeks. We can leverage the prototype tooling to generate small quantities of parts while we build the production tooling. Serving customers in a diversity of industries, including transportation, electrical, energy, automotive, and consumer products.
We offer to prototype as an element of our overall manufacturing programs, which, along with to die casting, including engineering, machining, inspection, finishing, and assembly. Contact us directly to learn more about our prototyping services for die cast parts or any of our other manufacturing capabilities.
